Using Herbs and Chinese Medicine with Lichens

Vitality has an article by Adina Stanescu discussing using chinese medicine, and specifically herbalism, in treating different types of Lichens. She also gives good descriptions of each type of Lichen, and notes that stress is a major trigger for outbreaks (as we all already know). I have never tried Chinese Herbs to treat my skin, although I have used them together with acupuncture to help my arthritic dog.
